King Yanlou, Judge of Hell, his secretary Lin Bai and Zhu Wuneng, aka Pigsy/Pig Demon aka brother disciple of Son Goku got put to trial for releasing Li Fang Sing into a new Domain without authorization. The Rulers of the various Domain threw the charges out after finding out the truth, learning that there is a flaw in their Fate prediction system. Incidentally, they also find out that someone succeeded in the Dao of Creation, creating the Domain that Li Fang Sing’s soul currently resides in.

No April fools joke this year, chapter should come out sometime tomorrow after going through edit.
I was thinking of doing shakespear conversion of the text, or mess around with rickroll/something else. But the Dao Ming chapter didn't make it in time due to the stupid amount of research I had to do while waiting for the author's reply for shit I don't understand (almost the entirety of the poem) :P

Chapter now editted
15+ hours in editing, it's finally done. There were a bunch of discussions between me and Ishman, since parts of the actions were vague.
Random shit that that came up was/rambling/rants.
1) The Normans are backward hicks, the only reason they can still rule anything is cause no one else can beat them in the jungle it seems. Also seems to exhibit some xenophobic tendencies in its soldiers.
2) Fighting in jungle must be absolute hell, the heat, the humidity, the uneven terrain (I hike through one when I was in malaysia, was still hard even though it was at a time when I was fit as hell). Add in the plants and everything in it being able to rip your to shit, I don't envy these poor bastards that fight in it.
3) The zipline predecessor prototype thing didn't make sense in engineering terms (the original would have it snagged like a bitch), we had to rewrite that part for it to make sense while keeping the DIY with scraps feeling. I call it a predecessor cause it's literally just a guide line where you launch the bloody thing using gravity and momentum, kinda like wired guided torpedoes back in the 18/19th century. I think with a pulley system added to it, it would be a fullblown zipline system.
4) Eye socket strike vs temple strike
During the battle, Kun landed an eye socket strike. The raw wasn't explicit, just saying what happened. This leads to speculation between me and Ishman. Ishman says that he's prefer a temple strike since it's just inches apart, indicating a side swipe with the rod. So in this case, Kun fucked up.
In my case, I think Kun swung the rod overhand by hiding the rod behind his back when he swung the sword, so the rod comes down on the socket, hitting the bottom part. Both scenario works, so idk.
5) Kun not using magic to fuck shit up.
Using the battle as a fullblown training. The flaming debris didn't come down as a spell, but from his whistling, so probably he has his guys up in the treed setting off traps or actually sit up there throwing shit down.
6) Kun has PTSD, and Gui is a fucking true bro.
We also talked about other stuff, but can't remember it all, it has been a LONG edit. Now I can say, enjoy (fuck ton of mistakes in the old version T.T)

Just an update...
Happy Easter to those who celebrate it (we just use it as an excuse to stuff ourselves here!).
That EC chapter was fucking LONG. As in, it comes to somewhere around 11k words, which is 3-4 times the normal chapters. When I read it, it didn't feel that long, but good gods, when I start translating it, I was wondering when it was going to end. I've opted to skip the Sidestories for volume 3 for now as it'd be too distracting to do so, and I'm already slow enough with my updates already >.> I will do the sidestories after this 3 part chapters end before resuming with volume 4. Just a heads up, the rest of the raws has some water damage and have "reverse printed" themselves onto the back of the opposite pieces of paper (some are so smudged that I can't make out shit), so I might actually have to rewrite certain parts to fill in the missing bits. Will this make the chapters faster/slower? I don't know, only time will tell.
Please send Ishman some well wishes as he has suffered from injuries downstairs due to a epic struggle against his cat. No, not from doing that, get your head out of the gutter. He was bending over a chair to pick up the kitty, where a small nail was sticking up, so he bruised his pelvic bone or something. As such, this EC comes UNEDITED for the time being.
As for Dao Ming, there's like 17 chapters sitting in my mailbox (author is actually happy, cause he decided to rewrite a certain chapter, so yay? xP)... I will try to get to them asap, but I'm a tad tired atm. So at the very latest, I'll have a chapter up next weekend. I'll probably do 3 chapters of Dao Ming to get my mind off of EC for a bit. The research and that ending filled me with a little... melancholy. So yeah, enjoy... or not.
